  The atmosphere was nice and my friend (I'm not a drinker) said the beer was good. It is a small place with limited seating and was quite busy when we were there. They don't serve food there outside of bags of chips you can buy but they did have a good truck outside from a local BBQ joint. They had a schedule for food trucks at the bar so if you're going to want to eat while you're there I recommend you call ahead to make sure a food truck is going to be there. The crowd there was a good mix between 20 something to 60 something. Thankfully there weren't too many snowflakes. There's plenty of parking there and the scenery on the 1 hour trip from Charlottesville was beautiful.

  Beer was pretty good, the prices were unbeatable. THERE IS NO FOOD, but there was a food truck outside that was excellent. Great views from the patio. Queer city boys visiting rural Virginia...was definitely a place where we got a few looks, but never felt unsafe.
